Description
The SonoSite system is a portable, software-controlled, ultrasound system, which has an all-digital architecture. It is used to acquire and display high-resolution, realtime, 2D, Color Power Doppler (CPD), and PowerMap (PM) Directional Color Power Doppler (DCPD) ultrasound images. The system has cine review, image zoom, labeling, biopsy, measurements and calculations, image storage and review, printing and recording capabilities.
Pulsed Wave Doppler
Provides a sensitive and accuratequantitative assessment of blood flow,enabling the user to measure velocitiesand identify flow characteristics inarteries and veins. Doppler signals areexceptionally clean enhancing diagnosticconfidence for vascular exams.
Color Power Doppler
For quickly detecting blood flow in vessels,or for guiding the placement of a pulsedDoppler sample volume, color powerDoppler is a very sensitive mode thatis less angle-dependent than velocitybasedcolor flow. Directional color powerDoppler is also available on selectedtransducers.
Tissue Harmonic Imaging
THI is an advanced technology neverbefore available in this price range.In THI mode, the system processes echoesat the higher harmonic frequencies,resulting in images with reduced noiseand clutter artifacts. This enhances imagequality with finer dot size and improvedtissue differentiation.
PC Direct Connectivity
Offers a complete solution for digitaldocumentation and image managementon a standard PC. SiteLink image managersoftware downloads and automaticallystores high-resolution images to an intuitivefile system.
